Wendy Gebauer has been working with Attorney Stephen Hayes over three decades and with Attorney Elizabeth Neary. Her career has concentrated on serving birth mothers, adoptive parents and licensed child welfare agencies in various aspects of the adoption process.

Wendy assists in document preparation and personal communications, including meeting with clients through each step of the complex adoption process, as well as crisis management. Wendy's guidance and knowledge effectively and efficiently assists clients through all stages of the various areas of children's law on which she focuses her work including:

• Adoption (independent / international / interstate)
• Guardianship
• Surrogacy
• Stepparent
• Foster Care
• Paternity

Steve, Elizabeth and Wendy work together to host informative adoption seminars for clients and potential clients wanting more information on the adoption process, as well as keeping agencies informed on updated law changes.

Wendy has assisted Steve as co-editor of the newsletter for the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (///A) and has served as a co-chair of the ///A paralegal national conferences. She has participated in fundraising events for:
